We are happy to share the news that a couple from New Zealand is expecting twin girls from one of our amazing South African donors that did the program last year for them in Thailand.
Intended parents already had a 4 year old girl when they lost the next baby to stillbirth.
First attempt wasn’t successful, so the South African donor was their 2nd attempt and twin girls are due in 2 months!
They shared this heartfelt message to their donor:
“Dear Amelia,
It feels very unusual to be writing a letter to you as a stranger on the other side of the world, yet at the same time you have given us the priceless opportunity (God willing) to build our family after losing our baby daughter at week 36, almost two years ago.
We are expecting two wee baby girls who are now at week 26 and we will fly over to Thailand in one and a half months’ time. So it is a very exciting time for us.
We would like to say, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much. We are so grateful for what you have done, thank you so much.
